St. Joseph's Hospice... A cause close to our hearts
Prior to his passing, Pete McConvillle, founder of May-McConville Insurance Brokers spent his last days at St. Joseph’s Hospice in wonderful care, support, and comfort for Peter and his family during this very difficult time.
Supporting the McConville Family during Pete's last few weeks of life, the Hospice staff was kind, thoughtful, supportive and compassionate. We are very thankful for their commitment to our dear friends.
Nurses, personal support workers, and physicians along with client services and supportive care staff provide expert care for people living with a terminal illness, their family members, and to those grieving the loss of a loved one both within our hospice home and in the community. Supporting patients and families during this difficult time, is their number one priority.
St. Joseph's Hospice is supported 50% by the ministry of health, and 50% by donations from the community. 100% of the care, support and services are provided at no cost to the patients and their families.
In 2018, our team collected $3300.00. In 2019, we are proud to announce that we have donated $2500.00 to this important service! Thank you to our friends, family, team and community members, such as Aviva Canada, for supporting our cause! We couldn't have done it without you!
